PDFConverter: Local PDF Export

PDFConverter: Local PDF Export is a privacy-focused iPhone app for scanning documents, working with local PDF files, and exporting document content in a more usable format.

All processing is performed on device. The app does not require account sign-in to use core features.

Import PDF files from the Files app
Scan paper documents into PDF using Apple's system scanner
Export document content as a .docx file
Preserve page visuals and include editable extracted text when available

Privacy

Files are processed locally on the device

Notes

For complex layouts, scanned pages, tables, or image-heavy PDFs, exported documents may include page previews together with editable extracted text rather than reproducing the exact original layout.
